What are you learning today?

Please post a comment before class tomorrow indicating what you worked today. Many of you have been active in the Chatsy discussion along with skype sessions and seem to be exploring all the tools.

Here is in interesting tweet that referenced an article from the NECC conference last month. Educators take Web 2.0 to school http://ow.ly/jfEk. The article also refers to real time blogging using Chatzy.

I hope you enjoyed your day of online learning. We will discuss your experience in class tomorrow.

Today I tried tweeting people, chatting with chatsy, wordle lesson plan ideas are set, glogster demo for my son's friends. One made a poster for her upcoming run for student council. I viewed many schooltube/teachertube videos along with everyone's blog. I am not finished, I will continue working.

I thought the day would go by slowly - can't believe it's after 3 already. My poor dog needs to go out! I had fun skyping - even tried a conference call! I added an RSS feed and blogged on my Moodle course, then I created and uploaded two Jing videos. I watched all kinds of videos (conversation starters) and got lost in Ning for awhile. I found some PowerPoints in Slideshare for my Moodle class as well. A very productive day!

Well, I did accomplish a few things. It is now 4:00 and I only left computer for about an hour and a half. wow! I was able to download Skype and Skyped with Dawn and Felicia. I checked out itunes podcasts, put a narration onto Audacity, chatted a bit, downloaded video download helper and a video from teachertube, but now I can't find it or get it onto my powerpoint, so I am quitting for awhile.

Last night I set up my igoogle page so I have a good base to work from. Went into work and Skyped with Felicia. Almost got the office at the school to get on and try. We did Skype the grandparents in the afternoon. Also at school spent time with our english teacher who does a lot of video and showed him teacher and school web. He was in heaven. I spent time finding people to follow on twitter. But got lost in some cool web 2.0 stuff like google wave. This afternoon I found videos on teacher tube and embedded them into my blog for my NXT class next week. Tonight, I'll be playing some more....Mark

hi everyone, well went to school with the best of intentions. however with the move to a new school and 30 computers to set up as well as a room to make inviting, I lost track of time fast. I was able to set up my desk computer and was thrilled to find that my new imac has a camera, set up my Skype account and played around with that a bit, checked out what people had written in the chatzy chat. Tonight now that the gilrs are in bed I've been diving into setting up my igoogle page and checking out different bloggs. I joined a social networking group called Elementary Tech Teachers hadlinks to bloggs, wikkis, podcasts and so much more especially new ideas for my classroom. Still want to work on my blog a bit before TopChef Masters starts at 10!!! C U Tmrow

Wednesday I registered for skype and I was able to takl to two people. I attempted a third but they did not answer. I also rsearched on teachertube and schooltube and found some worthy weather videos to show my students. I also personalized my igoogle page. I also tried picnik but I felt it was not as userfriendly as other photo sites I have been on. Jess Sheridan

All I can say is "Phew"!! What a busy but wonderful day full of technology.
I created a glog, skyped used chatzy with many people, tweeted, blogged and had so many windows open that my computer went into overload an came to a screeching halt. Now that I am back on, I thought we were supposed to leave a comment so I am. See everyone tomorrow. I am exhausted and will sleep well tonight. LOL!

P.S. I guess this is our new Web 2.0 lingo!

Wednesday was a great day and I had fun looking into the various websites. Look at the websites helped me add a little bit of order to how all this stuff works.
