Getting Started with Blogging - Session 1 (Cape Group One)

Welcome to Blogging.  I am excited to introduce you to several Web 2.0 tools to hopefully, engage students with 21st Century learning.  I hope you enjoy this learning adventure this week.

hi Mary - I teach grade 7 /8 in what is called the intensive learning center. I spend my summers working for a fishing boat in Hyannis and fishing on my days off.

I am a third grade special ed. teacher at the Quashnet School. I am happy it is summer vacation so I can read, knit, walk and ride my bike.

Hi Mary. So far, so good! Thanks for your help with this course. I have taught in the Mashpee Public Schools for 12 years, mostly in 5th grade, but most recently, as the Writing teacher, grades 3 - 6.

I am a third grade teacher. This is all new to me. I am wondering to what capacity I will utilize this in my classroom. It seems a blog would be quite useful- not sure that I want to tweet though...
