I have a wiki a work in progress! http://michelleswiki.pbwiki.com/Primary-School
ReplyDeleteIt is not much, however it is big for me... I created a WIKI. I am going to continue working on it.
ReplyDeleteI started a wiki called "sara's wiki world." Not too sure what I am going to put on it, but its a start.
ReplyDeleteI started a wiki for my sophomores to post comments about various aspects of The Catcher in the Rye. It is a way of collaborating without using class time. It also allows them to share and refine ideas before they come to class to discuss it. Other than a couple of students forgetting the password (which was English--a tough one to remember), it seems to be going pretty well.
ReplyDeleteI also used my 40 inch LCD screen hooked to my computer to show a Beowulf trailer to my class. The trailer shows mead halls and ends with Beowulf roaring "I am Beowulf." It was the perfect way to set the mood for the mock mead hall in class during which the students stood up and performed their original Anglo-Saxon boasts.
ReplyDeleteMe again! My wiki is www.mc228.pbwiki.com if you want to take a look.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I am crazy about the wiki too much and too confusing to me.. I like things esp technology to be basic and easy.
ReplyDeleteSo I have been playing around on the wiki.. I think that both the wiki and the blog are great but I do not think they are really usable with kids at the primary level. I also hope i did not erase anyone's things because I was messing around.
