  1. This tutorial page is so very helpful. I have been in the district for a year and never received any information on how to set up my website. This tutorial has been great in improving my knowledge of School Center!

  2. It is great to see the conversation taking place around the best use of technology for all. I would stronly recommend a task force of teachers, administrators and students and expand the discussion.

    Some suggestions
    - HP offers a tablet grant http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/grants/us/although competitive, it suggest you work as a team of six and submit an integration idea or lesson. Even if you do not get the grant, it is a great step to begin to articulate a vision.

    - "clicker in the classroom" for assessment www.einstruction.com OR the new Smartboard clickers http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-US/Products/Senteo/

    - there are inexpensive solutions to meet the needs of students. Webcam, microphones, the flipcamera http://www.theflip.com/ for video around $100.00.

Take advanatage of your School Center sites to post information and lessons.

    - Another alternative would be to build a part two of the course that incorporates the use of technology and a chance to share with you colleagues.

Having observed a group of ten teachers in my high school use projectors in the classroom this has made a significant impact.

The most important advice I can give. Continue to connect the learning with professional development.

You have been a great class, I am happy to help with the process!
